Killer For Hire By Alexis Abbott

I want to thank NetGalley, Kobo writing life, and Alexis Abbott for the Arc of killer for hire. I want to first say that this isn’t my usual type of romance or rom com book but it looked interesting and I wanted to give it a chance. While I did think it was a well written book it wasn’t really for me. There was a lot about the mafia and some violence that I just could have done without. While i would recommend to people who like those types of things in their romance books it just wasn’t for me but I am happy I gave it a shot.

Carpool By Noelle Adams

I want to thank NetGalley, victory editing, and Noelle Adams for the ARC of carpool. You guys this was a sweet, sexy, fun, slow burn read. I really enjoyed this one. It takes place I a small town and Jennifer is the good girl and Marcus was always kind of known as the town bad boy. When things take a turn and they start carpooling together let’s just say sparks fly. I high recommend this witty fun romance.

Mother Dear By Nova Lee Maier

I want to thank NetGalley, AmazonCrossing, and Nova Lee Maier for the ARC of mother dear. The cover of this book intrigued me and is what first had me wanting to read it. I admit when I read the description it was the complete opposite of what I thought it was going to be but I still wanted to read it. I’m not sure how I feel about this book. It wasn’t horrible just was a bit predictable. I kept wanting to read on so did end up enjoying it I just think it was a lot different then what I expected. Still worth the read for sure. Helen was an interesting woman to say the least.

Stay By AJ Alexander

I want to thank NetGalley and AJ Alexander for the Arc of stay. I was the cover of the hot guy and the dog and was like yep I can tell I am going to want to read this. What could be better then a hot guy and a dog? Cole is a dog walker who falls for Addison when he comes to walk her cousins dog. I really enjoyed Cole and Addison. Addison always has her guard up not knowing if someone likes her for her or her money. She wants to let her guard down for Cole but he has some secrets of his own. I really enjoyed this read. It was romantic, sexy and had some mystery to it.

Good Guy By Kate Meader

First I want to thank NetGalley, and Kate Meader for the ARC of good guy. This was my first book from this author and I loved it. I loved Levi and Jordan. They shared a kiss in the past that was all wrong timing and now it’s awkward but it was really fun watching their relationship unfold. He’s a sexy hockey player her also serves his country and she’s the widow of his best friend who also died serving their country. I was really invested from start to finish so safe to say I enjoyed it and the bantering between the two was fun. I recommend this one. It’s the first in a series so can’t wait for book 2.

False Step By Victoria Helen Stone

I want to thank NetGalley, Lake Union Publishing, and Victoria Helen Stone for the ARC of false step. I read her previous book Jane Doe and absolutely loved it. It was one of my top reads of the year. It really sucked you in. When I saw she had a new book coming out I was so excited and got even more excited when I saw it on NetGalley.

This book ended up being really good but I have to say it definitely didn’t live up to Jane Doe. This book did have a good amount of thrills and secrets to unravel but i didn’t get sucked into the characters as much. That being said I do still recommend this book if you were a fan of Jane Doe. It was a really good read.

Current TBR

This is my current set of books I am working on reading. So excited for each and every one of these books. Currently started on Riley Sager’s new one Lock Every Door. Review to come. Are any of these books on your TBR list? Of if you have already read what did you think?

Don’t You Forget About Me By Mhairi McFarlane

Thank you to NetGalley, Mhairi McFarlane and HarperCollins for an Arc of don’t you forget about me. First this cover is adorable and I already knew I would love this book just by looking at it and second I am a huge Mhairi McFarlane fan and her books never disappoint.

Georgina is down in her luck. The same day she gets fired from the restaurant she works at she also comes home to find her boyfriend in bed with someone else. She gets a job as a barmaid in a newly opened pub that turns out to be run by the boy she fell in love with back at school. She’s sees Lucas has really grown up now owning his own business and he has a dog. Seeing him after all of these years brings up a secret from her past that happened on the last day of school. A secret that has chased her all of these years…

This book is both a second chance romance and about a girl fighting for herself and discovering who she really is. She has had a hard time since school and has let it all drag her down and she is not on the path she wants to be on but with the help of her amazing friends she starts to pick up the pieces. I loved this book because of the romance but also because Georgie is a strong woman who picks herself back up. Highly recommend this one.

The Love Solution By Ashley Croft

Thank you to NetGalley, Ashley Croft and Avon Books for an Arc of the love solution. What initially caught my eye with this book was the cover. It reminded me of the kiss quotient which is one of my all time favorite books. I knew I had to see what it was about. I was excited to learn it was about two sisters and their journeys to find love. Was super excited to start reading this one.

Molly and Sarah are sisters and they are very close but very different people. Sarah runs a craft business and Molly is a scientist. Molly gets put on a new high-profile secret project and has a handsome new boss. Sarah is incredibly sad after going through a really tough breakup. Can her sister Molly and perhaps a little science get her out of her funk?

I really enjoyed this book. I loved the strong bond these sisters had with each other and I enjoyed reading each individuals romantic relationship story lines. This book will tug at your heart but at the same time give you plenty of laughs. What a refreshing read. I loved this book and the ending made me smile. Check this one out if you are a fan of fun rom com romance.
